Here are a couple of Lead Hates of mine.

You will need to call hundreds of them to find one who is remotely interested. You need to have excellent telemarketing skills. You will need to take the abuse and rejection that you will receive from 90% of the people you call. You may be very good at telemarketing and rejection doesn't bother you. Personally, I do not know many people who can say this, and even if you are good at closing leads, the majority of people are not, meaning your business will be difficult, at best, to grow in this way.

What about your down line? Realize that your entire down line is not customers but distributors just like you. Are they all going to buy leads and do this too? Nope.

Buying customers is so much simpler. Buying customers makes so much more sense. Wouldn't you rather have a customer, who is already purchasing your product or service, than a lead you will have to "sell" on your product or service?
